gilles peterson, who is basically my inspiration dj-wise* introduced me to this via his worldwide show. it's this amazing latin jazz-funk track by cuban group irakere which started out in the 70's. this is all info from wikipedia as i never knew who they were until the french englishman played the track. it's from their international debut back in the late 70's and it's apparently a classic, i have no idea to be honest. fucking tune though, the break with that buzzing sax does it for me every time.
